Anyone got PR as postdoc under NOC 4011? Please help!

I need to get reference letter as postdoc from my supervisor as postdoc to apply for PR.
I didn't do any teaching and I know teaching is the main duty for 4011 (while there was no NOC matching my NOC better than 4011).

Is there anyone here who got PR using postdoc work experience under NOC 4011? If you also didn't really have teaching duties, how did you deal with this in the reference letter? Could you please share what you wrote?

Most postdocs in Canada don't do teaching and it would be good to share how to deal with that.

What is written in your work permit? Does it mention postdoctoral fellowship? If you can't get any teaching/lecturing/mentoring duties in your reference letter, I suggest you not to use NOC 4011. Although I know one person who got PR with 4011 w/o including teaching, others weren't so lucky (including me).

Thanks for the reply. I think I can ask my advisor to mention in the letter that I am mentoring PhD students and I sometimes give "lectures" (by which I actually mean giving group talks). But real teaching I have not done.

There is no better NOC that I could use. Also I had seen posts from other postdocs here saying that they used NOC 4011 and were successful. Even one of them said he was first rejected because of the reference letter and then got an improved letter and were accepted for PR. Some people mentioned that giving talks and guiding students were mentioned in their letters. So I think it should not be a problem, but I would like to see how these were reflected in a "successful" letter.

I hope someone can share such a (real) example.

I think rather than giving a generic letter like this, you could make it a little more specific with your duties and add an LOE about the NOC.
