Great.! Were you already married when you sent the email or did you tell them that you were planning to get married?Nitz_Au said:Update on my file:
I sent an email to CPC-OTTAWA yesterday notifying them regarding the change of my marital status after receiving PPR. And this morning they updated MyCIC account asking me to upload the proof of relationship and payment of RFPF for my spouse. I'm glad that it didn't take long for them to reply

I finished gathering all docs and able to sent them yesterday. Yes, CIC didn't asked for POF but I included them I don't want them to send another Request letter asking for such. For sure it'll take more time for them to process. Hope it won't take much of a headache waiting for the result.Ufa6174 said:They've replied to me also. Sent me a letter with a full list of the additional documents/requirements. Was asked to return COPR and passport to them to cancel them.
Given only 7 days to submit. Glad I prepared everything beforehand. Surprisingly, they haven't asked for updated POF - guess that comes in next stages? Weird.

Ok, good luck with everything. I might follow in your footsteps soon.Nitz_Au said:Ottawa
Asking for updated POF is at VO's discretion. When I got married while my application was still in progress, Vienna VO did not ask me for updated POF as well. I sent them only what they asked for, and it all went through fine.Ufa6174 said:They've replied to me also. Sent me a letter with a full list of the additional documents/requirements. Hey Nitz_Au, how long did CIC give you to upload all the required documents?Nitz_Au said:Ottawa
Thanks. I was on the fence about sending them new POF via CSE as I've already got new statements from my bank. My bank is overseas so it's a bit of a hustle to request them again and then get a friend to scan them for me etc, but I guess since it's not an oversight I'll refrain from sending them something they haven't asked for.alok4best said:Asking for updated POF is at VO's discretion. Edit: I've submitted everything a few days ago and surprisingly yesterday they requested to submit my medicals even though I did in my last submission and in the correct upload field. I just re-uploaded the document again within 15 minutes and submitted again.
Did you a second set of medicals? The medicals are valid for a year and it seems like you submitted your application in Dec 2015.Ufa6174 said:Thanks.
