CRS score still did not updated after new rule!!!

Hi,

As the new rule got effective on 19th Nov, but my CRS score still shows the same. I am suppose to get some extra points for my education. But the score still looks the same. I am wondering when is my Express entry crs score going to update? Or do I need to contact to CIC to update my score? Thanks in advance.

You need to create a new profile. Your existing profile won't get updated by itself.

You don't have to create a new profile. Just make sure you answer the new questions that have been added recently under the study and language section and once you update the profile you have to wait for 24 hours for the score to be changed.

This is NOT TRUE, STOP Spreading false information.

My profile has been updated after I answered all of the new questions.

Thanks all, I already updated my profile. But I could not find any new question over there. I did updated my profile on Friday, but still my CRS score showing the same. I also called CIC they said I dont need to reopen my account it will update automatically. They said they are not sure how long it is going to take.


I also have few more questions as follows: There are few questions and I am not sure how to answer them.

# Was this degree, diploma or certificate:

• from a public post-secondary school, such as a college, trade/technical school, university or CEGEP (in Quebec) * (Does this point applies to all universities in Canada or Only Quebec?)
  from a private post-secondary school that operates under the same rules as public schools
  a diplôme d'études professionnelles (DEP) or an attestation de spécialisation professionnelle (ASP) earned through a qualifying study program of at least 900 hours from a private school in Quebec, or
  a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree from a Canadian private school that can legally award degrees under provincial law. (The student must have been enrolled in a study program that led to a degree as set out by the province.)

Ans: ? ( I graduated from Memorial University which is a public university located in NL. Should I choose No for this qestion)


Was more than half the study program English or French as a second language courses?
Ans ? I am not sure what does it mean as second language course.

2- It is asking whether you took ESL or FSL courses during your studies (courses to improve your english or french). If half the courses you took are ESL or FSL choose yes, otherwise choose no.

I just checked in CIC webpage,
i have got additional points 50 for ITC

from yesterday, i have updated my profile 3 times but i was not able to see any additional point but
just now i can see

Thanks. I did Masters from Canada. I did not take any course related to study English or french as a foreign language.
Dont know why i said yes to that answer .

I dont see any extra points for my Masters from Canada. I submitted my profile yesterday and updated today since i had given an incorrect answer related to taking more than half of the courses as second language courses in french or in English. But after correcting, i dont see my points increased. On the calculator i can see i have more points.

It takes some time to update, some people had to wait 3 days to get those points.

If you do not want to wait apparently a quick solution is to withdraw the profile and create a new one.

I would wait. I hope this does not affect the next draw. I am assuming the next draw would happen using my new CRS score.
Would be sad if my new CRS score is above the cut off and still would not get the ITA since without the new score it would be hard to get an ITA.

I have updated my ielts score in my EE application, which gives me additional 20 points according to CRs calculating Tool of CIC, but i cant see any change in my CRS score, I m very frustrated, even if I m trying to report this as technical issue, I am being asked for UCI number which I guess is not alloted to me so far. Please guide me what can I do further
