Help with the translation please!!!

I have a doubt about how to make a translation from Spanish to English valid for immigration purposes, and nobody at the embassy or CIC is giving me a precise answer. I don't want my whole application to be refused because I did something wrong, so please I need your help.

Here is my doubt:

In the CIC web page it says:

" Translations may be done by a person who is fluent in both languages (English or French and the unofficial language). If the translation is not provided by a member in good standing of a provincial or territorial organization of translators and interpreters in Canada, the translation must be accompanied by an affidavit swearing to the accuracy of the translation and the language proficiency of the translator."

There is no problem with that, I can get an affidavit done in the presence of a public notary from my country (I'm currently living in Argentina).

BUTTT....

The oath has to be done in Spanish if I do it in Argentina. Therefore I don't think it's going to be valid.

In the other hand if a do the translation with an official translator and I certificate it, I don't think they are going to accept it because it won't have the affidavit.

What do I do??!!

Have you checked with any companies in your country that offer translation for official documents?
There's nothing special about it, as long as it's done correctly and a lawyer or a paralegal confirm that the translation is such.

Thanks for your answer! Yes, there are companies and certified translators, but I wasn´t sure if CIC is going to accept that if the affidavit is in spanish (It can´t be in English in my country).
CIC crearly says that only Canadian certified translators are recognized.

Hola doncesar,
Lleva tus papeles en español a un traductor certificado, ellos por lo general tienen un sello/firma certificando que son traductores, luego llevas todos esos papeles que el traductor estampo a una notaria para autenticar el sello/firma.

Before doing all of that I started searching all the information about it, in fact I even called the Canadian embassy in Colombia and asked them how was I supposed to send my translated documents and they gave me that same answer.

I know it has been 3 years since you answered but I was hoping you can clarify something a little further. after taking the documents to the notary, did you "Legalize" them at la cancilleria?
