I have a masters degree from Delhi, India which was evaluated as "one year of graduate study" by WES while my bachelors degree was evaluated as Bachelors Degree (4years).

Can you post what is the summary given to you by WES?

Guys, be careful in selecting the 'Two or More Degree' option. The most important thing is
CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY
Bachelor's degree (four years)

The summary should mention the second degree for you to select this option. Don't get extra points only to be rejected by CIC
This is true. If the final evaluation is something like

Bachelor 3 years AND (Another degree)

Then you most likely you can choose two degrees. It still depends on what WES said in its summary equivalency

Indianaspirant seem to be qualified for 2 degree option because (Although he has Canada Equivalency Summary => Bachelors ( 4 years) ):

1. He has one degree of 3+ years => bachelors (4 years)
2. He has another degree which lies in the list below (not an exact match but somewhat similar to second last option below from CIC list) => one year of graduate study

However, my degrees are => Bachelors (3 years) and Bachelors(4 years) which does not matching to the CIC list above. I am confused to move ahead with 2 degree option :(

Hi talkto_vinay,
in that case also.. there is a limitation imposed by CIC here..
It is only for those ECA reports issued by ICES or IQAS.

It is not applicable to WES issued reports.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/eca-conversion.asp
read the footnote 1 on CIC ECA equivalency page..
Footnote 1
Note that this equivalency assessment outcome applies to reports issued by either the “International Credential Evaluation Service (ICES), British Columbia Institute of Technology” or the “International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS), Government of Alberta.” These designated organizations indicate outcomes in English only.

No need to be confused.
For @Indianaspirant it is TWO degrees one as Bachelors (undergraduate level) and the other Masters (at graduate level) so two degrees with highest level being Masters (at graduate level). So he could choose the option of "Two or more..."

For yours, you also have Two degrees but both at Bachelors (undergraduate level) one being Bachelors (3 years) and the other being Bachelors(4 years) so your highest to consider will be Bachelors(4 years) hence you have to choose "Bachelors..." and NOT "Two or more..."

Hope this clears the confusion!

There is a post in CIC help that you can choose two degrees if you have two bachelors degree. Just try to search the cic helps. They also said the same in pre and post ITA. You can see that when you are filling up the form.

CIC post details in that ECA credential sites. But not every deatils are posted.

So for me, I will still say YES you can choose Two degrees.
CIC does not post everything in that ECA site.

Its ok hehe. The post you posted me saying that is BEFORE indianaspirant post this thread. That is why I posted in page 1 that"WOW" word. So I stand corrected in that post that you posted.

I will have to search for it but some user here already post the link in CIC Help page some time ago. Just look at the topics similar to this.

Hi Indianaspirant,

i too have a similar case...

My wife's WES result is as below.
Bachelor's degree was evaluated as 'Bachelor's Degree (4 years)' &
Master's degree was evaluated as 'One year of graduate study'

In EOI is it right to choose as below???
Bachelor's degree to be specified as 'Bachelor's Degree (4 years)' &
Master's degree to be specified as 'Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees'

It would really helpful if you could share your views on this. Also, could you please share your contact number or WhatsApp me @ +91-8861057849.

Thanks!
Murali

IndianAspirant has got evaluation from WES.

Some important information from WES website => http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=1129&t=29

*******************************************************************
How do I answer the question in Express Entry about my education if I have two or more degrees or diplomas?

To get the correct number of points, make sure you choose the answer that best reflects your case.

For example: For each entry, if you have two Bachelor degrees, or one Bachelor and a two-year college diploma, choose “Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years.”

If you have more than two degrees or diplomas, you will not get any extra points. You should choose the same option as above, unless you have:

a master’s degree, or
a doctoral level degree (PhD).
You will get more points for a master’s or a doctorate, so if you have one, choose it from the drop-down menu.
