Two and More Degrees ECA evaluation

Here i am posting My wife and my WES Reports, Hence could you please have a look and suggest me that whether can i select the option "Two and More Degrees" for both of us

Based on what you posted, what both you and your wife can use is the option of "Bachelor’s degree or other programs (three or more years) at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute"

We have two level of education(Canadian equivalence) entries for her EE Profile
1. Her Bachelors Degree
2. Her Master Degree

For Bachelors Level of Education(Canadian equivalence) : Selected this option “Bachelor’s degree or other programs (three or more years) at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute” since ECA Report mentioned “Bachelor’s degree(four years)” and same entry listed in the below Educational Credential Assessments – how to read your report

For Master Level of Eduction(Canadian equivalence): I thought of changing “Two or More degree” from which I have already mentioned as “One-year degree, diploma or certificate from a program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute” because the ECA Report mentioned “One year of graduate study” And this options is listed only in “Two or More degress” but there is a condition that this Report has to be assessed by ICES or IQAS Otherwise that will fit to select for Master Level of eduction field option

Note: One Year or graduate study is not mentioned any of other links from below

My response was about that message - his wife's report.

His report indicates a single 4 year Canadian Bachelors equivalency.

I have CLB9+ in all sections, 2 or more degree or a master degree will help me go beyond 455+....

Wow! If this is really true then this will negate what asivadanac and some others (including me) are saying that if you only have Bachelors in the summary from WES, you cannot choose Two or more degrees.

I think this really depends on the visa officer handling the case and if you really have 2 separate degrees diplomas obtained and WES or some other assessing body assessed your credentials as two separate degrees, diploma, in Canada.

Indianaspirant, since you've already made a thread regarding this, would you mind posting a screenshot of your WES and the PPR from your mycic here? Just cover your name and things that you need to, so that everyone of us really have a proof regarding this. If it's ok to you.

I really would have no problems in doing it only I currently don't have it handy, I think ive been around too much for u to consider me as a troll.....u are free to choose what to believe though....wishing u luck

yes you can, CIC mentions it in clarification that two bachelors will equal two or more degrees....much its not exactly like my case so cant say more than that

just one question I have..
what was written in your Evaluation Summary in WES report:
was it only "Bachelors Degree (4 years)"

or it was
"Bachelors Degree (4 years) and
One year graduate Study"


Because, I have a serious question to ask..
that if your degree equivalence summary shows only one degree...

how can you claim "Two or more degrees..."

my summary mentions bachelors four years because according to WES that's the level of my education as masters is not equivalent to Canadian masters ....I got two or more degrees option because CIC mentions in the ECA conversion table on their website that we can choose two or more degrees if we have "study towards a masters program" and not a completed masters degree (which would give me a credential of masters)... i too have a similar case...

My wife's WES result is as below.
Bachelor's degree was evaluated as 'Bachelor's Degree (4 years)' &
Master's degree was evaluated as 'One year of graduate study'

In EOI is it right to choose as below???
Bachelor's degree to be specified as 'Bachelor's Degree (4 years)' &
Master's degree to be specified as 'Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees'

You already posted it yourself (the help notes from cic). So go and choose Two Degrees. That's your proof and IndianAspirant's guide.

Got my PPR a couple of days ago and I had vowed to help-out everyone here with the same gruelling dilemma that I faced while making my profile for EE regarding the qualification related points , so here I am

I have a masters degree from Delhi, India which was evaluated as "one year of graduate study" by WES while my bachelors degree was evaluated as Bachelors Degree (4years).

I choose "Two and more degrees" option in qualification section as it was listed that, study towards a masters degree will be counted (CIC website)....we had a lot of arguments and discussions here on the forum but I felt convinced and went ahead with it, like I said previously that I have received my PPR and my passports have been submitted for the VISA.

Now, my understanding is that if you have a MASTERS degree which has been evaluated as 'one year or two year of graduate study' you can claim points for two or more degrees but not masters....hope this helps, I'll be glad to help out anyone through this in whichever way I can so plz feel free to contact me.....wishing you all a happy future

In case of one year graduate study, you can select "two or more degrees.." option only if your ECA is issued from ICES or IQAS as it is clearly mentioned in Footnote 1 on CIC ECA conversion page.
