Hi All,

I want to know about my work permit after pnp Nomination. I Have been nominated under NOC B and I have job offer for NOC C. I want to apply for workpermit with my family. ( Wife and Daughter ). I want to apply my workpermit with my wife open workpermit and my daughter's visa. Can I apply for spouse open work visa same time with my work permit as I am under NOC C?? Please help.

I checked below information from CIC website. For spouses or common‑law partners of PNC applicants, the spouse or common‑law partner is eligible for an open work permit for the duration of the work permit held by the principal PNC applicant, irrespective of the skill level of the principal PNC applicant’s occupation.
Spouse or common‑law partner and dependants
Certain conditions must be met by the holder of a bridging work permit in order for their spouse or common‑law partner to also be eligible for an open work permit under subparagraph 205(c)(ii) as a spouse or common‑law partner of a skilled worker (see International Mobility Program: Public policy, competitiveness and economy).

In all cases, the bridging work permit must be valid for longer than six months.

For spouses or common‑law partners of FSWC applicants, the bridging work permit holder must be performing work which is at a level that falls within NOC skill levels 0, A or B.

For spouses or common‑law partners of PNC applicants, the spouse or common‑law partner is eligible for an open work permit for the duration of the work permit held by the principal PNC applicant, irrespective of the skill level of the principal PNC applicant’s occupation.

For spouses or common-law partners of FSTC applicants, the bridging work permit holder must be performing work which is within one of the skilled trade occupations in NOC skill level B.

For spouses or common-law partners of CEC applicants, there are no set preconditions to be met by the principal CEC applicant.

For spouses or common-law partners of caregiver (caring for children class or caring for people with high medical needs class) applicants, the bridging work permit holder must be performing work within one of the qualifying occupations in NOC skill level 0, A or B.
