Hi,
I received my wife's ECA report, and WES gave us the following:
Canadian Equivalency Summary: Diploma (2 years) from a non recognized institution.
Note that the institution was available on WES dropdown list, the menu where you select the country, institution and credential, so I thought it definitely was recognized.
Here's the tricky part:
I put in the details on her EE profile and it gave her the corresponding points, but she is still not eligible for under FSW, only CEC.
1. One theory I have is that EE has already access to WES, and based on the ECA number I put, they saw it's non recognized, so she is not eligible for FSW. Yet, she gets points... ???
2. On the other hand, if EE is not that advanced and crosscheck on the spot, it gave us the points, based on what we said, and they will ask for proof when they send an ITA. In that case, if it's non recognized, could they take back the points? Consider misrepresentation?
Does it make any sense? Eligible only for CEC, but we got points for the ECA..
Any ideas or similar experiences and/or explanations??
Is the ECA valid cause it states the Canadian equivalency, or not, cause it states non recognized?

it's the closest I found, still no definite answer though.
