This is the second time I apply for a Canadian study visa
The first time I went to Canada, both my study permit and visa expired on August 13th. However, I ended up leaving Canada only two weeks later, on August 26th.
I did not mean to break any rule. I took too long to book my flight, and I needed an available date that would fit my budget. Also, I did not work or study past August 13th, only stayed there because my rent was already paid for the whole month.
Now I am filling out the application form, and it has the following question:
"Have you ever remained beyond the validity of your status, attended school without authorization or worked without authorization in Canada?"
I don't think it would be wise to lie to this question. How strict would they be over a 2-week overstay?
I've searched online for people with similar problems, but it is hard to find people actually telling what happened to them after they applied for the visa.
