Over 2 months waiting the additional docs submitted.

Timeline so far:
Submitted Oct 1st
AOR Dec 16
Invitation to pre-arrival services on Dec 24
Biometrics done Dec 30
Medical passed Jan 7
Requested additional docs Feb 13
Submitted docs Feb 18
We are reviewing the additional documents you provided. Feb 20

No news after that.

The additional doc requested was my military history so I guess they are thoroughly checking my background or I was pushed back to the end of the line...
All I can do is wait now...
Average processing time at IRCC is 9 months so can't complain, it's been a little over 6 for me.

Inland?

Hello, has anyone submitted their application in March or April 2025 and have received AOR? Everything that I have been reading is about people who have submitted in Aug/Nov 2024, so if there are new applicants that would be helpful :))

Yayyyyyy - ok fingers crossed, will hopefully have a new update soon :)

Feb 3rd - Application Submitted
Feb 24th - AOR +BIL
Feb 27th - Biometrics Completed
March 21st - Pre-Arrival Services + Passed Upfront Medical Exam
April 1st - Final Decision - "Your application is in progress"

April 23rd - Received P1 (outside of Canada for a while so will be delaying P2)

^same FD, same P1 today!

Yay!!

Excited for you :)

Also, quick question - I am currently outside Canada and will be outside for basically another two months (I'm back for two weeks somewhere in the middle, not enough to warrant emailing them and instigate P2).

Has anyone else been in this situation? How did you answer P1? Did you fill in all of your info + say I will be back at XYZ date, or did you leave everything blank just saying "I will be back at XYZ date"? And what happened when you got back - did you just email the original P1 and get P2, or was a new P1 sent to you?

Thank you!

yaaay! That’s great news
Your update prompted me to check my account, and my final decision status now has a date (April 23rd)! so looks like I keep being a few weeks behind you :)

Yay!! Congratulations :) - P1 might take a few weeks, there seems to be a slow down. But it will come!

Congrats to all of you! You guys are picking up the whole process really quickly. We waited almost 2.5 months to receive the AOR and then waited another 90 days to receive the P2 after P1. Things are moving much faster now, so don’t worry about the timing.
