Thank you can judicial review temporary stop the deportation order. From the decision they gave me it shows it was taking on the 8th March. How many days do I have to file for judicial review ?
Did they tell you anything? I don’t know how that works. They should have told you your options. Did they give you deportation date or anything like that?

In general you really need to have a honest discussion with your lawyer about the chances of any of these things being successful given the high cost of filing and the realities of immigration in Canada at the moment. Depending on your financial situation and if chances of success you may be better off using the money to return home. Not trying to be harsh but 5-10k may make a huge difference in your life if you do end up having to return home. Sadly some lawyers will file any JR for the money so hopefully your lawyer will give you various scenarios that could happen, the costs associated with all of them and an honest view of whether they think this could be successful. They also have the full details of your file while we have none.

No deportation date yet, I was asked to come in every week. What does that mean? Also my lawyer said he ask for the reason of refuser from the court to Ircc. So you know what that means?

What was stated on the refusal letter about lack of status and needing to leave Canada? In general IRCC/CBSA prefers that people self-deport because it is easier for them and better for the individual if they ever want to come back to Canada in the future.

Hello Taweda!

I hope you are doing well.

I believe we are in the same boat—we are still waiting for the CSQ.

I called MIFI about a month ago, and they were processing applications received in August 2024. I've called three times, and the answer is always the same: H&C cases take more time. We submitted our paperwork in September 2024 and are still waiting.

Have you called them? What did they say?
Thank you for reaching out. I called them many times and the answer was the same “They are processing your application” but they don’t give me a timeframe or any other details.

They likely can’t give you a timeframe because there isn’t one or they would’ve given it to you already.

Good afternoon,
I have been waiting for a decision on my application since November 2022 (second application, from Quebec). I would like to know based on your experiences guys if my file has now been assigned to a decision-maker.
It has been more than 29 months since I submitted it, and I would prefer not to apply for GCMS notes, as I’m concerned that it might further delay the process.
I recently received a response from IRCC after submitting a web form. They indicated that my file is currently being processed in Vancouver and has not been transferred to another office. It is likely that it will be processed there.

They said that my file is in Vancouver, so it's probably the primary one, and the second one could be the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa.

However, when I asked them via webform whether the file had been assigned to a decision maker or not, they just ignored the question and only said that my application is in process

I applied for H&C in January 2024, biometrics in February 2024, still haven’t received any updates on stage 1?. We just updated our application with new supporting documents for the h&c.
