Ahh may I ask till when friend? A friend of mine got it even when his medical was valid for quite a few months
From one of my ADR, the officer clearly stated that: "Applicants living outside of Canada require a medical certificate that is valid for at least 6 months" so they need the new medical examninations from us although its valid remains 5 months. However, the good news is we got our case approve right after the latest medical certificates passed.

Wow! That is some great information that you have passsed on dear friend!
So according to my understanding the medicals need to be valid at least for around 6 months before we get our COPR approval right?
Would you please be willing to share your entire timeline?

That’s right
I saw it in other cases as well, so the last medical IRCC ask applicants after processing everything is a clear sign of approval .
Wish everyone good news soon
And wish you all the best in new chapter of your life

Hi,
I can't agree more with @suv2020.
Aleen, Even all of yours are passed but your co-founders are pending =>you shouldn't expect any good news of your own coming soon & please just keep calm since you may have to wait for some months for the processing results of the others...Especially Security check!
I do hope you will see some positive and moving forwards updates and good news in the next coming GCMS notes of your co-founders soonest.
Good luck
Hali

This valid may be the standard one that I was requested. However, there are many other cases (that I know) they still can get the CoPR approved with ME in less than 6 months, so it is subject to the decision from IRCC officers and our luck.

Below is my timeline:

PR submission: Nov 2020
AOR: Jan 2023
Medical Request: May 2023 - Apr 2024 - Sep 2024 (3 times)
ADR: Feb 2023 - Apr 2023 - May 2024 (3 times)
Pre-arrival service: end May 2023
CoPR and Visa request: Oct 2024 (Both valid still Sep 2025 that are same expiration date as the last ME)
Landing Canada: Dec 2024
Total: 47 months

Hope it will help and good luck to you !

Hi @Hali-2025 how far into the process are you?
I got the medical request on 10-Dec and submitted it on 15 Dec 2024.
So far I haven't got any updates yet.
Called the IRCC agent & was informed that my file has a BFD (Bring forward day) on the next coming 3rd May 2025.
Just waiting to see any updates on the BFD
All best to you & all other SUV applicants
Cheers
Hali

I got only one PAL

Hi

Recently, some applicants have reported receiving two pre-arrival letters, which is unprecedented in my experience. Until last month, I've only ever seen mentions of one pre-arrival letter, sent after passing eligibility.

This sudden change is puzzling. Is this a new policy? Are these reports accurate? I'm seeking clarification on this apparent deviation from the standard procedure.

If anyone has official information or insights about this situation, please share. Your input would help clarify this unexpected development for myself and other long-time Forum members.

Hello there,
From my experience, it seems that the first letter is notifying you that you're now eligible to access the pre-arrival services. It’s essentially an invitation to begin utilizing those services. It begins with "This is to inform you"
The second letter, on the other hand, appears to be a reminder for individuals who haven’t yet accessed these services. It seems to be aimed at encouraging people who might have missed or delayed taking advantage of the pre-arrival services to do so now. It begins with "This is a reminder that"
So, to clarify, the second letter is likely intended for those who haven't started benefiting from these services yet, while the first serves to inform you of your eligibility.

I think the eligibility time frame does not rely on the documents alone; it depends on how the start-up idea is completed and the complexity of the idea. Before, it was a peer review by a specialist; the IRCC terminated it last August 2024, and I am not sure now how they make the assessment for the ideas and the technology and how long it takes now.

Assessment of Eligibility has two aspects, first is about a business, and then assessment of people as how much they’re qualified for their role in business
After passing my Eligibility I received pre arrival service letter, while other teammates still stuck in this step and obviously received no PAL
Good luck

Hello @Nima987 , I was wondering if there have been any updates regarding your application. It seems like you received the pre-arrival letter quite a while ago, but from what I’ve noticed, you’re the only one in your group who has received it so far. Typically, in most cases I’ve encountered, the pre-arrival letters are issued to everyone in a group around the same time. It’s a bit unusual that you’re the only one to have received it, and I’m curious if there’s any particular reason for this. Could it be related to changes in group members, or perhaps there’s another factor that might have caused the delay for the rest of your group? It would be helpful to know if there’s anything specific impacting your situation, especially since it’s not the norm for one person to receive it significantly earlier than the others. Kindly let me know if there’s any context you can share or any updates on your end.

Hi there
As far as I saw and checked with other friends of mine in SUV programs, it’s quite normal to get PAL in different times as anyone gets it by passing its own eligibility.
in my group there are two essential member, that’s me and another member residing in Canada , IRCC asked him in November 2024, for extra ADR, it sounds they’re still busy to processing them.
We should wait for GCMS note response to have a clear answer actually

in my case , everything passed but for approval, it’s needed to all essentials passed everything, so I have to wait
I wish all of us get good news soon
