Fair enough. If you decide to go the sponsorship route, be aware that your current level of savings is not sufficient to cover the fees plus other expenses such as medical and PCCs.

Good luck with the TRV application.
Hey! So we actually just learnt that she owns a house lol. When her mom bought their home, she co-signed it and it belongs to both her mom and hers. Do you think that would help our case? I still have the sponsor route I don't mind doing it but with her owning a house in Mexico that might help our chances. I've also gotten more money now and we thoughts of new things to include.

The plan to prove her ties would to provide:

- Proof she's studying and a letter from her school vouching that she's implicated in her studies and has her final exam in September
- Adding her siblings including little brothers that she routinely takes care of in the family form (not financially but she has duties regarding them)
- Proof of ownership for her house
- 24 months loan for a TV
- Letter of recommendation from a Zoo she works for. It's called "Social Service" and it's sort-of part of her school program, a bit like an unpaid-internship but she's very involved with them and they might hire her after the school
- Letter of explanation about our situation and we have no intention of staying in Canada (might be useless but immigration lawyers have recommended it)

Leave out the siblings. They aren't her kids and IRCC won't see this as a tie. Leave out the TV loan.

I'm not sure what you mean by a letter of recommendation from the zoo. If they are writing anything, it should be a letter to confirm her work as part of the school program.

Focus on the big stuff like her school and proof of property ownership.

For the Zoo would this be okay ? Translation :

It is hereby stated that the student XXX, with registration XXX of the Bachelor's Degree in Biology at the Autonomous University of Yucatan, has satisfactorily completed her social service at the UMA CENTRO DE CONSERVACIÓN DE LA VIDA SILVESTRE ANIMAYA, dependent on the H. Mérida City Council, fulfilling a total of 480 hours counted from August 23, 2024 to February 24, 2025.

In this period the student carried out various activities as part of the Ecology program,

Management and conservation of wildlife under professional care.

Serve this for the purposes that correspond.
It's directly issued by the government. But we were thinking we could also add a letter from her boss saying she's like very implicated with the animals etc and might get employed at the end of the studies.

Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought this work was still ongoing. IMO this doesn't have much value unless she actually has a firm job offer or is still actively working with them and is just taking a few weeks off for a vacation.

Sorry I am the one who didn't detail enough. It is still ongoing, the paper is just old (we'll get a new one updated for the application). She is actively working with them but it's unpaid and part of her school program, I think it's valuable.

OK - then the way to make it valuable is for the letter to say her unpaid work there is ongoing and that they know she is going to be on leave / on vacation for x-x dates.

The way it's written now makes it look like this work is in the past / done.

Okay thanks for the help! We'll get on that. I hope with these new elements and the ownership of the house we don't have a 99% refusal chance now lol.
