Took the test this morning. 20/20 on the first try!

We've been here since 2012. I would have been embarrassed by anything else!

Onwards to the next step!

EDIT: Hubby took his too, and also got 20/20.

Does anyone know whether it matters if your job title changes during the citizenship application process, i.e. due to a promotion?

I figure this might be more of an issue for PR rather than citizenship as I didn't really need to provide much detail or proof of employment with my citizenship application. Employer is the same and both job titles are NOC Teer 0 anyway so I can't imagine it making much difference but I thought I'd ask just in case.

Job title and even NOC code don't matter after you are a PR. You could become a professional butterfly farmer and they couldn't care less.

As far as I know, all the need to be able to do is verify that you HAVE worked in Canada, or be able to verify your presence somehow for the period that you needed to be in Canada.

Okie doke, that's exactly what I thought. I won't bother with a webform for it in that case then. I'm sure they have more important things to do.

Thank you. :)

I am trying to sign up for the tracker but I didn’t receive the verification code in order to complete my registration. I have been trying over the last few days. They confirm sending the code to my email address on their website but i never received it. I tried to contact them but I couldn’t reach them
Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help everyone! Scheduled for citizenship ceremony on March 31.
congrats - you guys are the only two from Jan who reached this far - I guess you outpaced even the guys from Nov 24.

I am wondering when - rest of Jan'ers, who have completed test (and not being questioned for FP), progress to LPP and DM. I hope it happens soon.

Jan 4th submission
January 20th AOR.

Still waiting on background check completion and Test invitation.
LPP and BG in progress. Citizenship Test not started.

Anyone else with same timelines waiting for test invitation?
Spoke to agent - No extra information or update he could see - and mentioned it takes 2-6 months for test invitation from the time of submission.

Its usually a week after AOR. See below, but yes if it could take any where from 1 - 3 months or more for non routine senerios or FP request. From the tracker I see that most Jan applicants got in 1-2 weeks of AOR. Most have completed their test.

Wait for your test invitation
We usually send the invitation within 1 week of your acknowledgement of receipt (AOR) letter or email.

Hi,

I've waited for more than a month now but still could not create tracker account. System say my application might not be in the system yet? I entered UCI and application number several times; either thru register or reset password, same error message I get. Have any one experience the same issue and for how long?

My application was submitted on 10 Jan 2025 and received the AOR on the 28th January 2025. Thank you.

Thanks! We all have a journey or immigration journeys. Good luck to all the applicants here, and in due time you will all receive your citizenship.

Had my own share of struggles in my earlier applications like-- 1st immigration appl getting cancelled after 10yrs (2002 pool), struggling with student visa, on the verge of leaving Canada due to financial difficulties, and then 3rd time lucky with immigration.

The forums here have helped me always, eternally grateful!
