LPP was marked as “Completed” on Feb 06 and citizenship oath to “In progress” on Feb 18 so almost 2 weeks. Had to wait until yesterday (March 05) though to receive the invitation, luckily it will be a virtual ceremony at lunch time, so at least I don’t have to make a plan, lol Good luck with your applicationCould I ask you how long was it between your LPP being marked as "Completed" in the Tracker and your Oath Ceremony being marked as "In Process"?
In my long query above I used Feb 20, because that’s what I see at the top-right corner of the page but in the application history it says Feb 18, maybe it was a ghost update then, I only checked after the 20thLPP was marked as “Completed” on Feb 06 and citizenship oath to “In progress” on Feb 18 so almost 2 weeks. And why is that surprising? Also the time it shows today does not apply to you. It's estimated time if you were to apply _today_. Doesn't apply retroactively.these crazy citizenship processing time keep changing when i apply its 6 month now its 9 month this weak change time again

I feel like half the posts on this forum needs a reminder than all of this is a privilege. Stop being so entitled.Becoming a citizen is a privilege not a right. This is coming across as entitled. The current processing time as of yesterday is 9 months. Processing times change. If you applied in October you haven’t been waiting that long. Remember, is a privilege not a right.

Just a guess: there's at least two and a half months yet, and you've already passed the main steps. I'd try just calling the IRCC number and asking what's up. And waiting a bit.Hi, can someone help me out with this - I want to request urgent processing of my submitted application because I have a work event that has been scheduled at short notice, it is in June and it is in the US. I will not be able to get the visa for US in time for the event, so I had my manager write a letter explaining that I need to attend the event. I think the only way to submit the letter is through documents in webforms, and my application is currently in queue for oath (LPP, BG, Test done). My question is - if I submit this letter as a document now and if they reject my urgent request, will my application be sent to the back of the oath queue? My LPP was completed 29th Jan, no word on oath yet. I don’t want to lose my position in the queue because of document submission, but I also need my Canadian passport before June.
I called them and they told me my application is in queue for oath, it’s at my local office and it is most likely going to be an in-person ceremony. I am based in Ottawa. Do Ottawa ceremonies usually take this long?Just a guess: there's at least two and a half months yet, and you've already passed the main steps. Completely agree. Makes me wonder if people are acting so rude and entitled now, how will they act after becoming citizens? Ironically, their feeling of entitlement is only possible because Canada is a great, free and welcoming country.I feel like half the posts on this forum needs a reminder than all of this is a privilege. Stop being so entitled.
Are you sure about the visa timeline? June is a long way off and getting a business visa is not difficult at the US embassy or consulate near you. As a Canadian PR, you can apply from Canada and a letter from your employer would more than vouch for you. It is easy to prove ties to Canada as a PR. I'm not sure IRCC would accept this as an urgent request tbh.Hi, can someone help me out with this - I want to request urgent processing of my submitted application because I have a work event that has been scheduled at short notice, it is in June and it is in the US. That's why it's taking so long. You got selected for in-person. Takes IRCC longer to set them up.I called them and they told me my application is in queue for oath, it’s at my local office and it is most likely going to be an in-person ceremony.
