My LPP got updated on 27th February in the tracker, Waiting for Oath is still not started. Waiting for the last step to be completed.

I will call Service Ontario as well and ask them if we need to update our citizenship status. Doing this should uodate things at the provincial level. Let's see what they say.

From Reddit, they do update your status on your license and health card when you renew it. I'd just do it pre-emptively so I don't have to so later.

Just for giggles, I'd submit an update saying `Never` to this - https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/services/sin/apply.html#:~:text=update your immigration document’s expiry date on your SIN record

That's why I was saying Service Canada. Letting them update our file would update other federal government agencies including SIN and CRA. I'll give them a call and ask them if its beneficial to update citizenship status once we get it.

I do not know how they are organized internally - but although Service Canada works as a 'single window' for multiple departments, I'm not sure if they're organized in a way as to deal with it quite so smoothly. But please inquire and let others know.

it is actually a bit slow compared to others I have seen in the previous months. Mine is Sydney office in NS

I have seen people finishing process in 3 months. It depends on time and office and I guess the officer.

Keep in mind some applicants may not need to do either the citizenship test or language (notably those 55 and older, and minors).

Hello all, I hope someone was in the same situation could answer my question: I’ve my fingerprints collected upon IRCC’s request. How do I know if IRCC hears from RCMP and resume processing my application, by email or by the tracker?

IRCC recive fingerprints recive directly from RCMP when you clear your background its update on your tracker

Yes they did, I got test invitation before the fingerprint request.
Montreal office in charge of the test but fingerprint are asked to send to Vancouver
