Hi Everyone,
My mom's PR application for Parents Grand Parents Program was submitted last year and last week I received a letter indicating we have to submit Police Clearance Certificate for her. Her home country is Bangladesh and she is currently residing in Canada for over 6 months. Their email used the following language:
"Police Certificate: The principal applicant and their dependent family member (if applicable) must provide police certificates from:
•Their current country of residence if they have resided there for 6 months or more, and
•The country where they have spent most of their adult life since the age of 18 (if different than current country of residence).
Your relative is required to obtain the police certificate from that country’s law enforcement authorities. Please send a copy of the original police certificate to this office as soon as they receive it."
My question is do I have to get her Police Clearance Certificate from both Canada and Bangladesh? (She has no dependent).
This forum has been really helpful in my journey to Canada. Thank you in advance!!
