My AIP was July address confirmation Nov and nothing since then i even sent them an email they said they cant give a timeframe frame and that i should apply for work permit of my work permit os expired and also submit my AIP to my employer

It can take up to 3 months to see application on eCAS. This is only relevant if you apply on paper. If you apply online, you wont see your file on eCAS.

Acknowledgment of Receipt, is a letter from Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that confirms your application has been received and is being processed.

• If he received the Interim Work Authorization (IWA), it is a strong sign that the AIP has been approved or is about to be officially issued.
• The IRCC only issues this temporary permission when there are indications that the application is heading for approval.
****Not always, I requested to extend OWP while H&C claim was in-process and assigned to SIO/SDM. I remember was almost at the end of application to be finalize and I RECEIVED A PHYSICAL COPY OF OWP in my mailbox just in THREE WEEKS was shocked how come soon get WP then later on here is the story the H&C claim was DENIED, I’m not the only one in this situation, one of the most respectful members of this platform unfortunately she also got same response, even her OWP was approved in two weeks same as mine H&C declined
So don’t assuming!
Plus getting Medical request form before AIP it’s not always positive sign or assuming will AIP come soon or late medical request has nothing to do with H&C first stage approval!
im sorry I didn’t mean to spread Negative energy rather than reality, facts and accurate data base even we had seen in the past decade case was refused after Federal Court rendered positive decision and sent it back case to VO but at the end application wasn’t granted so no one can understand how things work at this immigration/Marc Miller since he took the office, honestly speaking need to someone send him back to Sweden!

Have you ordered them lately? On top of that b/f date means nothing. It is an imaginary target that can keep getting punted down the road. It is not a guaranteed processing time.
Just searching for a little of hope when the end finally comes. This wait is exhausting.
