Yes, I currently work in a retirement home, but my question concerns my eligibility as a Personal Care Aide (NOC 33102). While this pilot program is intended for Home Care Workers (NOC 44101), the job offer criteria has been updated now. Since I provide personal care in a residential setting, I was wondering if I might qualify for the program. I would appreciate any clarification on this. Thank you!
Is that "residential setting" a private home? A retirement home with a residential like setting isn't a residential / private home.
Does home support worker come under Health service field occupations ? A friend has an open work permit with condition listed that not authorized to work in child care or health service field occupations. She has more than 1 year of experience outside Canada as a care giver for elderly . Will she be eligible for this pilot ?
