Visitor Visa Refused for Minor

Hi, I raised a Visitor Visa application for my sister and my niece ( she is 14 yrs old ). I provided all the documents; however the visa got refused for my Niece with below reasons.
  • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/section-179.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors:
  • Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).
  • You do not have significant family ties outside Canada.
  • The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.
Can anyone help, what I can do before resubmit in this case.

Note: My sister is the single parent ( divorced ). I also provided the consent form signed by her father.

Any type of help is appreciated. Thanks

- How long was the visit for?
- How much did your sister show in savings to support the trip?
- I assume your sister obtained a TRV earlier?

Wait for the results of your sister's application before you do anything.

Hey @canuck78 , thanks for replying.

I wasn’t aware that this is one of the criteria. Could you please tell me the ideal amount I should show for two TRVs?
It literally says that in the application guide.....

What are the requirements you must meet for a TRV?
You must show the officer that you meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations and that you will be in Canada for a temporary stay.
You must also:
  • satisfy an officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay,
  • show that you have enough money to maintain yourself and your family members in Canada and to return home,

I am sorry, I am not good at explaining. But there's a confusion.

I am inviting my Sister and Niece, to Canada. I am PR holder having a constant source of income. According to your comment (2nd point), I must have enough money to maintain myself and both of 'em. For this, I have shown a 50K CAD account balance along with my salary statements which is being credited bi-weekly.

However, 1 Lakh INR ( approx . 1600 CAD ) is in my Sister's account back in India, this I was not sure as one of the criteria.

I don't think you understand the replies.
It's your sister and niece that's applying for visitor visa.
THEY need to show their own fund. IRCC also look at how long the fund has been in the account. (large lump sum transfer may get some special attention)
Also 1600 CAD is not a lot of money for 2 to travel in Canada. And definitely not enough for 1 month of visit in Canada.

You can write an invitation but that's about it for you to do.

It is your sister that shows the funds to support herself and daughter. The statement is not for you but your sister. They want to show a minimum of $10k each. $1600 would not even cover airfare. You supporting their whole visit shows they cannot afford it.
