Tough to compare as IRCC cuts quotas.

If they are GAR, they definately get processed faster than PSRs.

That is typically because they have already been a refugee ready for resettlement often for a very long time so have just been waiting in another queue.

That is actually not long when dealing with private sponsorship. There is no standard timeline.

But even if I've done the medicals ? Shouldn't they take me with in a specific period of time after the medicals

People have been know to have to redo medicals. Nobody can guess how long it will be.

I know that IRCC does security screen thru a third a party and that it beyond their control, it takes sometimes more than 6 months. I know someone who has completed his medical exams, interviews, biometrics all in May 2024, and still waiting Decision made. So, there is no fixed timeline for any immigration stream, every case could be different.
I just wanted to say, just be patient, your visa will be coming soon. Wishing you all the best.

9 months is crazy period to be honest god be with them it is a long wait
