Hi community, I received my GCMS note today and it confirms I was sent for comprehensive security check. However, I just cleared my last c-security check for my TRV after I submitted my PR application, the check lasted for 13 months BTW. Will previous check expedite the PR one? Anyone on the same boat? Any insight would be appreciated.

No, your previous security check won't expedite the current security check.
I think they just check the same stuffs? If so why can’t they just reuse the old one since not 1 year ago
They don't disclose how they operate to us. But, we know for sure that different people perform your security with different applications. Maybe it is a part of a redundant process or something that needs to be done this way to keep the integrity of the system very high. There are people who never get sent to SS during TRV applications, but get sent to SS for their PR application (vice versa).
