Wow 3 years and still not over?? Are you outside Quebec? Also did you apply for Open Work Permit while waiting for final decision? Since your case significantly exceeds current processing times. Have you tried requesting GCMS? Submitting Webform? Emailing and asking them for status update?

They said background check still processing everyother stages has been passed since

Most likely will halt the process, but I must tell you judicial review can take over a year and that’s if your case is strong and a judge is willing to see it

You already have good grounds for H&C with this, I’ll say to put in the application even while waiting for JR, CBSA cannot remove you when JR is going on, they are bluffing, do not wait one second immediately you’re eligible for H&C put in the application

I sent an email last week to Niagara office And an agent replied me -
y. All submissions for the application have been received and, if we require additional information, we will contact you.



You may submit a work permit extension and provide your stage one approval letter to your employer.



We we are unable to advise you when your application will be finalized.

@eni 123 has your work permit expired? I dont know if i should apply for work permit or wait for them to finalize it cos its been 5 month after Aip and nothing. My work permit has expired since and i am out of status. What do you think please.

Mine is expiring soon too I dont think i want to wait for them to finalize sincr the agent said they cant give a specific time and was told to go and apply for WP
