Wow 3 years and still not over?? Are you outside Quebec? Also did you apply for Open Work Permit while waiting for final decision? Since your case significantly exceeds current processing times. Have you tried requesting GCMS? Submitting Webform? Emailing and asking them for status update?

yes but 36 months is way too long. How long have you been waiting since AIP? What exactly they are checking in background? Security or Criminality.

No my friend, nothing is moving and it makes me anxious, I called yesterday and was told criminality is in progress and everything else is complete, seems like there is something going on and they are not issuing portal 1 emails, I checked other threads and looks like there are very minimal portal 1 emails I was able to find may be 2-3 people who got portal 1 in January and Feb,

Same , only criminality in progress & everything else passed. Hope for the best !!
