Provincial wage thresholds and work permit application (using an existing LMIA)

Does the wage offered in a work permit application using an approved LMIA need to be updated to reflect new 'provincial wage thresholds' introduced after the LMIA was approved, or should the wage in the work permit application remain the same as the one specified in the approved LMIA?

Should reflect the current wage levels required.

2024:
An LMIA was submitted in July 2024 with a proposed wage of $31.25 per hour.
At that time, the wage listed on Job Bank was $31 per hour.

2025:
The LMIA was approved in January 2025, with the wage confirmed at $31.25 per hour for a 3-year term, classified as a high-wage position.
However, by January 2025, the wage listed on Job Bank had increased to $34 per hour.

Given this situation, should the job offer in the work permit application reflect the wage specified in the approved LMIA ($31.25) or the new wage listed on Job Bank ($34)?

Should reflect your genuine wage. Would assume current wage for the best chance of approval.
