Hi,
My oci application status shows Processed. Does it mean that the oci has been approved? Is there any chance for it to be rejected once the status moves to Processed?
Asking since I am planning to book tickets for India. And don’t want to wait till i receive the oci card. Thank you.

Hi, can you please let me know if you were able to remove the voter ID and ration card online?

I lost my voter ID and couldn't find my EPIC details on the portal. The same goes for my ration card, I was added to my family's ration card, but I haven't used either for more than 10 years.

I have a query for OCI. In my case my spouse Voter card details dont show up when i try to search on this portal (https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/), it does not show up. Does that mean the Voter card is already cancelled ?

Also, can anyone provide steps to surrender Voter ID ? Do i need to send the form to email or upload somewhere ?

It's so stupid that we have to do their job after paying 400$.

For the Voter Card, I have encountered a similar issue, try to use different search options from the below link.

The last timeline shared from Ottawa on this thread was in December where it took 8 weeks from Acknowledgment to get into Processed state. So ~10-12 weeks to get in hand.

Hello Yash, There are many people from Ottawa who Applied in November 2024 and are waiting for an update. My Acknowledgement date is Nov 26 and still waiting for an update. Ottawa is not even crawling.

For all new applicants did your printed OCI included the postal code, i just noted that all our family applications submitted had postal code missing from address section.

I dont see any issues with it but just thought of checking

Not new OCI. Mine also doesn't have one. Faced no issue during my travel to India.

Ration card entry removal from the family card. im from southindia and we have online portal for state government where we can done easily.

Voter ID, yes i have done online in edge browser and after multiple attempts it accepted the request.
