Hi, I just wanted to share my timeline even though it's not done yet.

ITA: SEP 19.

AOR: NOV 7.

MED: DEC 13 completed.

BIometrics: DEC 16 completed.

GU: DEC 26. I called IRCC, and the agent told me criminality and info sharing is completed, and he told me my VO.

ELIGIBILITY not started

Backround in progress since DEC 13.

GU: JAN 31.

No update after that. Does anyone have a similar situation like mine? I don't know what the last ghost update mean.

Call them ask and they would be able to tell you regarding your recent GU!

I'm curious, does knowing your VO have any benefits? I can't believe so many people call and wait 30+ minutes for this information.

Doesn't matter. Not even a single shred! I never called IRCC from start to beginning. I knew it would be at at he cost of my peace. Being patient is the key my friend!

While it doesn’t always take 30+ minutes, people do wait months or even years for PR. Thirty minutes is just the bare minimum.
I have been to many offices in Canada where I had to wait hours to get things done.
In my case, I was fortunate both times I called, I received a decision or had P2 sent out within minutes.
So, making the call at least gives you some peace of mind or try to find a pattern from IRCC.

Medical done early July ( i applied before and got refused reason reference letter issue didnt provide one but collected all the job experience proofs but didnt convice the immigration officer)
Now got an update
February 11, 2025:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

I have no idea about my VO and honestmy dont care it will just complicate thing in my head
