Think people need to be prepared as IRCC tries to tighten immigration wait times will increase. This is the new normal unless there are reforms which will likely deny applications quickly to reduce the volume of applicants.

You can try and apply for a WP whether it is approved is up to IRCC

They are most likely get visa without my help. I was wondering if they said we will visit our son and after they reject because of my lack of status situation.

They don’t even have to specify that they want to visit you and could still be refused or denied entry because of your status. Impossible to say.

Hi my work permit PGWP is expiring soon and I HAVE A FAMILY AND A CHILD BORN IN CANADA TO SUPPORT them can i extent my work permit wHile my application is under process in H&C . bECAUSE THIS WAS THE ONLY REASON FOR STAYING IN CANADA AND APPLYING h&c was social and economic establishment if my work permit expire then how i will have social and economic establishment? Do you guys think hat if i apply for extension i will get that ??

I wouldnt apply for parents at this time. Refusal is almost guaranteed if you do so. You’ve waited all the time to get through this. Get your PR status in hands and apply for Super Visa for parents. Why risk now? Officer will check your status and refuse the application. Disappointment, refusal and waste of time and money. It’s a NO from me but you know better choice is yours. Yet Ill be very happy to hear they got approval
