Hi there. I submitted my application in July 2024. Received AOR Dec 23, 2024. I noticed people who submitted at same time as me has been receiving Medical requests and I didn’t? I did have a recent medical exam did they just accepted that under the new policy?

Hi Everyone,

  1. For the ADRs, do we get an email from the IRCC that the issue has been fixed? Or do I just have to hope that the sent documents are enough to fix the problem? I only got an email saying the documents are added to the application.
  2. After AOR, When can we expect to get information on how to get our Medicals?
Thanks.

Background check : In Progress to Not Applicable
Review of eligibility in progress on Tracker & GCkey but IRCC agent says completed.

From 15 January they are reviewing ADR after that no Update.
Winnipeg is the slowest office of IRCC as many applicants are stuck with it. My background check was turned to Not Applicable, and after 5 months, It was turned back to We are processing your background. My background check has been in progress with the Winnipeg office since April 2024. Everything has been completed: Eligibility, Criminality, Information sharing, Medical and Biometrics.

Yes, there is a high chance that IRCC may return the application if the required birth certificate is missing or if the submitted documents are not translated. IRCC usually requires either:
1. A birth certificate (preferred)
2. An acceptable alternative such as a government-issued document that confirms the applicants birth details (with a certified translation if not in English or French)
3. An affidavit (if no official birth certificate is available)
Since your agent submitted study documents without translation, IRCC may not accept them as a substitute. If you receive a request for additional documents, you should submit a translated version or a proper alternative as soon as possible. If the application is returned, you will need to resubmit it with the correct documents.
Then we'll have to again fill the fees as well ?

@Miss bee I noticed that I forgot to put N/A in Section G: Military and Paramilitary service of imm5669 form. Would that lead to my file being returned?
P.S - I’m still awaiting my AOR and if there’s a slight chance of it being returned, I can look into sending a webform with an updated version

Hi @Miss bee I have a query, initially when I started my PR process, my child was here, but later she moved to India. In Dec when I received P1 mail, I was in India and informed the same and during that I have given same date for my child as well. Now, I am in Canada and responded back to IRCC and informed my child is not in Canada. After a day I received P2 but not my child. This week on Monday, I raised a webform to consider my child application as outside Canada application. Today morning I received a request letter from IRCC in my GC account which has some step 1, 2 and 3. I.understood that it's for sending passport but my name is mentioned. I am confused here. Did you come across any similar case. Please suggest.

Is it allowed to do freelancing/ self employment work when being on a pnp based closed work permit ?
Closed work permit means that: closed for a single business or employee. If your permit is a closed work permit, working for multiple companies/employers isn't allowed, both as an employee or as a freelancer.

But one important detail: that restriction is for Canada only. You can work as a freelance or be employed on any other country, except Canada.
