You may get your AOR for PR app in next two weeks. Since people around Aug 20-22 are getting it now.

Hey Thank you for your response. One more thing, how did you raise your webform before AOR? Would you explain the process please, it'll be really helpful. Thanks again! You should pay and raise the web form—I did the same; I didn't pay at the time of submission, but later on I did and raised the web form. And guess what I got AOR and very next day they send me BIL.
I have been really worried about it cos i applied for my work permit yet there has been no response since aug 11, 2024You may get your AOR for PR app in next two weeks. Since people around Aug 20-22 are getting it now.

Based on the note I got in mid January, the criminality passed but AUS info sharing status was "Sent-Partner" , the other two info sharing with US were passed. Could you tell me what is FD?Not exactly right, his medical is already passed. Mostly likely his background check was already ran and some parts were completed or ready for assessment. He is very close to getting FD.
Having a government job does not automatically trigger a comprehensive security check in your immigration application. However, it can be a factor depending on the nature of your role, the country you worked for, and your level of access to sensitive information.Anyone knows if having a government job automatically makes your application to go under comprehensive security check? Is this true?
If your job position and job duties has been changed, you should inform PNP office and IRCC . It's mandatory part of PNP post nomination process.Hi @Miss bee
I have applied for NON EE PNP under the OINP (PhD Graduate Stream). My application is with the IRCC and I have received an AOR early January 2025. In December 2024, I have started another position within the same company that I work at. Do I need to inform IRCC of this change in position within same company?
Since you are still awaiting your AOR, there is a slight chance that your file could be returned for being incomplete. However, leaving Section G (Military and Paramilitary Service) blank instead of writing NA is usually not a major issue if the rest of your form is complete.@Miss bee I noticed that I forgot to put N/A in Section G: Military and Paramilitary service of imm5669 form. Would that lead to my file being returned?
P.S - I’m still awaiting my AOR and if there’s a slight chance of it being returned, I can look into sending a webform with an updated version
It sounds like IRCC is processing your PR application separately from your child's, and your recent webform request to consider your child as an outside Canada applicant might still be in progress. :Hi @Miss bee I have a query, initially when I started my PR process, my child was here, but later she moved to India. In Dec when I received P1 mail, I was in India and informed the same and during that I have given same date for my child as well. Now, I am in Canada and responded back to IRCC and informed my child is not in Canada. After a day I received P2 but not my child. This week on Monday, I raised a webform to consider my child application as outside Canada application. Today morning I received a request letter from IRCC in my GC account which has some step 1, 2 and 3. I.understood that it's for sending passport but my name is mentioned. I am confused here. Did you come across any similar case. Please suggest.
Yay, tysm for detailed answer.Having a government job does not automatically trigger a comprehensive security check in your immigration application. However, it can be a factor depending on the nature of your role, the country you worked for, and your level of access to sensitive information.
When Does a Government Job Lead to a Security Check?
1. Sensitive Positions: If your role involved law enforcement, military, intelligence, cybersecurity, or access to confidential government data, your application may require extra scrutiny.
2. Certain Countries: Applicants from countries with heightened security concerns may face additional background checks.
3. Security Screening Indicators: If there are any flags in your travel history, affiliations, or previous work duties, immigration officers may refer your case for further review.
What Happens in a Comprehensive Security Check Additional background verification through CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service).
Review of employment history, international travel, and possible ties to government agencies.
Delays in processing, sometimes extending several months.
If your job was a regular administrative or public service role with no sensitive access, it is unlikely to trigger a comprehensive security check.
Since you submitted your PR application two months ago, correcting mistakes on IMM 5669 (Schedule A “ Background/Declaration) as soon as possible is a good idea.hi. submitted my pr application 2 months ago. i just realized i have made several mistakes on my imm5669. i am planning to call ircc to request for a temporary file number so i can submit a new imm5669 through webform with the correct info. is this the right thing to do? i need to provide a letter of explanation right? please i need answers.
and one more thing, for the personal history section, how should the dates look like? can anyone provide an example plea
From (YYYY-MM) | To (YYYY-MM) | Activity Type | City & Country | Employer/School Name (if applicable) |
2020-09 | 2023-05 | Working | Toronto, Canada | ABC Corporation |
2018-06 | 2020-08 | Studying | Vancouver, Canada | XYZ University |
2016-01 | 2018-05 | Unemployed | New Delhi, India | N/A |
Since you submitted your PR application two months ago, correcting mistakes on IMM 5669 (Schedule A “ Background/Declaration) as soon as possible is a good idea.
1. Steps to Correct Your IMM 5669 Mistakes:
1. Call IRCC to Request Your Temporary File Number (if AOR is not received yet).
This may help you submit a webform with your updated IMM 5669.
If you have your UCI number, try using that in your webform request.
2. Fill Out a Corrected IMM 5669 Form
Ensure all details are accurate, especially in the Personal History, Address History, and Work History sections.
3. Write a Letter of Explanation (LoE)
Explain the mistakes you made in your original submission.
Apologize for the oversight and clarify the correct information.
State that you are proactively providing the corrected form to avoid misrepresentation.
4. Submit via Webform
Attach your corrected IMM 5669 and LoE.
Select the correct category: Permanent Residence -> Express Entry / Non-Express Entry -> Upload Documents.
2. Personal History Section (IMM 5669) Date Format Example
This section should not have any gaps and must be in YYYY-MM format (Year-Month)
Example:
No overlapping dates
From (YYYY-MM) To (YYYY-MM) Activity Type City & Country Employer/School Name (if applicable) 2020-09 2023-05 Working Toronto, Canada ABC Corporation 2018-06 2020-08 Studying Vancouver, Canada XYZ University 2016-01 2018-05 Unemployed New Delhi, India N/A
No gaps between time periods
Yed if you don't have TFN , you can just use UCI to send webform .thank you very much miss bee. i was so stressed out since last night. so i don't really need to get a TFN right? since i have my UCI. i tried calling them earlier but there was a high volume of calls and i could not go through.
Thanks a lot for your detailed response. Will do this.Use this link
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/web-form.html
"Update or ask about your application"
"Add document to your application"
Fill out the form and were it asks for your application number, click on the "By checking this box, I confirm that I don’t know my application number" box.
Use your UCI instead (there's a box further in the form to provide it).
In the last section where you can write your comments, explain that you forgot to pay the biometric fees and that you're attaching the receipt for biometrics.
I did the same thing. I applied without paying biometric fees, read in this forum that I should have, paid and sent it through webform a few weeks after applying. Got BIL along with AOR.
