haven't received BIL after 20+ days of getting AOR and biometric payment request. Does anyone have any kind of knowledge on to how many days normally it takes after AOR and fee payment to get a BIL. And in between all these days does my application get reviewed further or it just stays still like nothing happens?

Yes! AND I WOULD CONTACT THEM IMMEDIATELY! same thing happened to me when I called them, they told me they requested documents from me almost 20+ days ago which i never received nor my IRCC account was updated. So, I would recommend to contact them per phone asap.

@Karanshah Usually it comes up with the AOR, but if the payment was asked to be made then, with the timeline gone up to 20 months, there is no way to estimate when one can get the BIL. I paid the BIL fee on 27th Dec 2024 and still awaiting BIL. Callled IRCC helpline multiple times but they have standard answer, "you will get an email when it is ready". There is no definite timeline. So it completely depends on the officer when he looks into your file.

Yes, the agent on the phone requested them to resend those email as I never received it. 2 days later i received all requested documents including medical and biometric.

Well, around 6 months from today you may get an AOR. After that its a roulette, you might get everything wrapped up in another six months or you will be waiting 21 months + as the processing time is, which btw will likely increase a month every month from today so it can be as bad as 33+ months.

Also to add, Federal PNP quota is 55k which includes express entry aligned PNP programs that are processed under six months. Since, the applications in inventory are mostly like much over the 55k quota for this year, there's no hope for NON-EE PNP for next couple of years. Elections this year will add another blow to us. Welcome to Canada!

Even i didn't pay the biometric fees while applying for PR but I haven't received AOR yet. Do you think I should pay the fees now and submit it through webform to avoid delays?

I have a work permit support letter for PNP and it expires on March 3 2025. I am planning to put an application for Work permit extension just for safety. My current permit expires with my passport in May 2026. Will I need a new passport to get additional 2 years of work permit extension when applying extension with PNP WP letter letter ?

Pre-arrival letters are sent out to everyone who has passed the eligibility portion of the application process. Your background check still needs to be done. This includes document and information verification as well as medical exam review
