We are now living in Canada together but might travel for an extended period in home country soon. Deciding between applying inland or outland.

Outland-
Pros: potentially faster processing time (now shows 10 months vs 24).
Cons : no sure and can not find info yet whether is possible to undergo medical exam and biometrics in Canada in case if we will be still in Canada when spouse will receive request for meds and biometrics. Not sure whether is possible to apply for open Work Permit while outland in process but both of us staying in Canada.
Which office will process application as we list out current home address in Canada? (in other words, will application be processed in Canadian ircc office or abroad? ) is there a risk of application being returned to us saying that we should apply inland because we currently reside in Canada?
xxxxxxxx xx
Inland-
Pros: possible to have medical and biometrics in Canada. Possible to get OWP and health insurance.
Cons: longer processing time.
Thanks everyone!
