Portal 2 to eCopr timeline 2024

Hi guys,

I’ve applied along with my wife for the PR through PNP. I am the main applicant. I’ve received P2 and uploaded my photo and provided my address. My partner is currently outside Canada, so she still didn’t finish the declaration.

Question: will they delay the issuance of my ECOPR until my wife is back to Canada?

I think the COPR expiry date changes based on medicals. Mine is valid till Jan 2026.
I know some one who has the same timeline as my P1 and P2, his COPR is valid till June 2025.

Could you please help me understand how can i check fhe expiry of my copr if I have not recived my ecopr yet? Sorry if I am asking any stupid question.

don’t worry. It’s not a stupid question.
You’ll be able to find COPR details in your tracker account if your application is approved(Final Descision).
It’s not visible before that.

ohh thanks for providing this info. If may I ask you , what's your P2 date ? and after how long this decision is appearing approved ? In my case it is showing that your application is in progress and will notify once final decision is made.

Nov 2 - AOR | PNP - EE
BIL - Jan 8
Medicals completed - Jan 6
Eligibility completed - Jan 13
Background Verification - Not too sure
FD, P1 - Jan 22 | COPR displayed in tracker.
P2 - Jan 23
Yet to receive ECOPR.

as far as timeline goes, there’s no right answer. It depends on the complexity of the application, VOnoffice efficiency, the officer and other unknown factors.

Mine is CEC EE application category. Thanks for sharing details. Hope that ecopr lands on our portals soon.

Hello guys, please suggest- I am getting a promotion at work to the role of manager. I received P2 on Dec 11th and my tracker account shows a copr number and expiry date. I have closed work permit(confined to location and role) as my PR application is though PNP non express entry. Now that the final decision stage has reached, would i be able to take up the promotion(diff NOC diff location same company)? Would the IRCC know by any chance or not issue ecopr if i take the new role?
