Hello Everyone please please help need guidance on below matter -

Has anyone left and re-entered Canada in the past six months while their spousal PR / SOWP application was in process?

Do you have any experience with this, or know someone who has done it?

Yes it's 24 months now according to the website. Quite unfortunate.

In my case I've gotten the sponsor approval in late December and haven't heard since. On the other hand, we applied for the TRV 'extension' from my wife's Student visa and that was approved within a month.

For tracking, did you try this?: https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login
I am tracking with it but everybody is saying here that link with GCKey. So i was asking. I got BIL today. Hoping to get PR within this year. 24 months are way too much. TRVs gets approved very fast.

Yes, my friend did this last year (in November 2024). She returned to her home country for a few weeks to visit her dying grandmother. While there, she received her P2, which delayed the process since she had to return to Canada first before proceeding with the P2 request. Fortunately, she was able to re-enter Canada without any issues at the airport.

However, this specific case does not guarantee that all situations will go smoothly. Ultimately, it depends on the CBSA at the airport and their discretion regarding entry.

Anyone who applied Inland Spousal PR in September 2024 on visitor visa/record, has their eligibility started or completed?

Because, I have seen people getting SOWP only after when their PR application's eligibility is completed.

I applied on September 8th and I got my BIL on November 29th. I haven't received an AOR yet but applied for SOWP with my BIL. However, I haven't received feedback yet, and eligibility has not started.

It's not looking good with the new processing time!

Its pretty normal. Not everybody receives AOR. My eligibility and medical has not started yet. I was worried too. But this is normal I guess.

I received my pre-arrival letter this morning and eligibility is also completed on the portal. No AOR yet though.
Does your sponsor have a different account aside from yours?

Do not worry. AOR is a major miss for many. You are way too ahead of AOR in your file.
He has an account. In his account, he just has two notf. file submitted and eligibility cleared. In mine, there are more notifications.

Hi everybody,
File applied = 5th September, 2024
AOR = 29th October, 2024

There is no update after AOR. Background is in process. Is it normal?
I am not even able to link my GCkey account to application. What to do?
Does anybody know how long this process gonna take on an average? .... Like 10 months or a year because somebody told me 24 months today. is this true?
Why aren't you able to link your application ? I received my BIL on the GCkey website. try linking it (we can help) or contact immigration via the web form
