I didn't understand the role of granter and reference for my canadian passport.

Second question, can I fill up my passport application with my handwriting rather than typing on computers.

On the day of passport I have the passport application 2 pictures. One picture signed by the granter 2nd picture signed by the photographer.Do I need anything else.

Granter? Or is it guarantor? This is the person who certify that the photo is really you (the applicant). Like your tenancy applications, references are people who knew you for the number of years, so that the officer reviewing your application can call your references, if necessary. In the past, I need my prof to sign my photo (as he was on the list of professionals). Read the instructions for anything else.
