CSQ 2024 timeline - PEQ and QRSW

Hi, first of all, thanks to you and the useful information you've posted here.
I submitted my application with the worker stream at the beginning of December and am waiting to have an answer
this is my Timeline at the moment

Dec 02 24: Submitted the documents on Arrima PEQ Worker
Dec 12: Request "test de Valeurs Dem"
Dec 12: Submitted Test
Dec 26: Changed to "En attente de traitement"
...
Currently Waiting.
And also I'm trying to renew my work permit because it ends in June.

Hey @matchayuki how did your interview go? Did you have the option to give it in English? After interview did you get your CSQ right away? For me, I have my interview scheduled at 20Feb, and I can select the option to give in English or French. They told me to bring all the original docs and that the interview will be of around 30 - 60 mins . Was it the same timeframe for you as well?

What is the reason in your the convocation letter? Does it specifically say that they don't believe you have the French proficiency like provided in the application? I'll provide an update below as a few have asked me about the interview.

It just says Objet : Convocation à une entrevue (the reason isn’t specified they want to see the authenticity of the documents I have mentioned in my demand)

They must have sent an attachment = the convocation letter with details. You should check again. Regardless, you must bring all original documents submitted for your application.

Hey Matchayuki, how was the interview? I will have it on Feb 25.
I am scared that the career service lost all my original documents while I went back to Japan.... I am asking a proof letter that they lost them. moreover, I am not in Canada now lol I need to explain everything in French

I passed! It was a really intense 60 minutes. My interview was to verify my French level, but check your interview letter to make sure that's the only reason. They really wanted to make sure you CAN speak French at level 7 (B2), so they most likely won't just limit to asking simple questions like "What is your future plan in Quebec?". You should treat this as a French exam and prepare as such. I really thought I failed during the interview lol.

I set up online French tutor lessons 3 times a week till I go back to Canada..

45-60 minutes, the interview happens. Towards the end, you would be asked to wait outside while they make a decision. After that, they would call you back in to tell you the results.
It wasn't a question. It was just talking about certain topics, expressing opinions. Basically they just want to see you be able to speak French for 2-3 minutes each for each question/ topic they pick.
