Hello everyone, among those who applied last year, how long did you wait for the certificate (PEQ)?

Guys - I got interview request from MIFI for my tech pilot application. I received my CSQ approval on Jan 8th and Yesterday they sent letter to revoke the CSQ approval and sent interview request? anyone seen this type of case? What should i expect in interview? Appreciate any suggestion/pointers

Some people shared these information:
Mainly questions about why we chose Quebec, about spouse and family and details about work. Was quite stressful as it was a long time but luckily it went well.
So, they want verify your french, if you passed exam - must be no problem

Hi guys. Sharing my timeline here

Applying for PEQ - professional worker
Note: this is actually my second CSQ, the first one was 2 and half years ago but I never applied for PR, I got divorced, diffucult situation, etc. Here timeline:


Sep 19: applied PEQ worker
Oct 1: Test des valeurs
Jan 13: CSQ approved

Total time of proccesing: almost 4 months. I know this a lot less than average for PEQ worker (6 months) so not sure if it is because my second CSQ.

When did you applied for CSQ?

The first one got expried without a PR application

From what I heard from other people and my lawyer, the questions should be straightforward more to assess your French level (if the letter says that the interview is to assess your French of course). I will keep you updated tomorrow. My lawyer said an interview should last 20-30 minutes if you speak French well, and the people who interview you are usually really nice .

January 7, 2025: Request for an interview to verify French proficiency

I submitted my application with the worker stream at the beginning of December and am waiting to have an answer
this is my Timeline at the moment

Dec 02 24: Submitted the documents on Arrima PEQ Worker
Dec 12: Request "test de Valeurs Dem"
Dec 12: Submitted Test
Dec 26: Changed to "En attente de traitement"
...
Currently Waiting.
And also I'm trying to renew my work permit because it ends in June.
