I think if you applied before June 14 you will be exempt from biometrics but they might ask you for it at background checkwhat about biometrics?

I applied on June 12 and received a letter to complete my biometrics on January 14. My biometrics were received on January 17, but I haven't received any further updates. That he should get the PCC from which country? In addition to that, he should show an evidence that he tried to obtain the PCC from the Interpol police of that country and if wasn’t provided the then something like email communication and receipt for payment used should be able to used that he tried to obtain but factors beyond his control as his passport is with CBSA Canada and provide the copy of letter of seizure from CBSA- write an explanatory letter to IRCC processing office and attach all the documentary evidence above.I submitted application for spousal sponsorship. PA is abandoned refugee claimant and IRCC is asking for PCC from his country. He does not have a passport as its with CBSA.
Please advise on this.

I called IRCC today and was told that everything has passed, including security. I am just waiting for the officer to make the final decision.
