Hello members,
I wanted some advice from the community, with regards to submitting my application for PR Card Renewal / PR Extension.
I am a PR since June 16th, 2020 and my PR card will expire on July 31st, 2025.
To give a history of my stay in Canada:
I became a PR of Canada on June 16th, 2020. I did my soft landing at that time and went back to US (employment reasons) on July 6th, 2020. (20 Days)
Visited Canada for a trip from September 9th, 2022 to September 24th, 2022 (16 Days) and returned back to US again.
I moved to Canada permanently on February 15th, 2023, and haven't left Canada after that.
Is it safe to submit the PR Card Renewal Application by February 15th, 2025 or it advisable to wait for a month and apply in mid March or in April so that I can accumulate more days on my Residency Obligation requirement? Is there any red flag or concerns in my case, since I would complete 768 days by Feb 15th, 2025, considering its not too much difference in the 730 days required for meeting RO.
