I am worried if my permit is expired before ecopr will it be created any issue in PR

It's not an automated process. The agent will manually access your file, confirm your presence in Canada, and issue the COPR. I assume they will also check your status.

Jan 23rd 2025: Biometrics done and already updated in account

I have a quick question regarding PR application status. I did my PR application with my lawyer in October 2024 and got my AOR in December. And also i already did my Bio metrics and Medical exam in January. But when i'm trying to check status of my application, i can't find my application. I even tired linking my application for my IRCC account but didn't work.

My lawyer told me that it's in early stage of process that's why you can't see status but for me after looking other people comments here....it's seems wired to me.

Can anyone suggest something on this?

You can link the application only upon receiving the AOR.

Hope my reply is not confusing:

Now you have to wait all the checks This can take a few days to weeks.

Then P1, P2, which usually is in the same week or the following.

And eCOPR, which you have to wait in a queue. For example, I did my P2 Dec 23rd, still waiting for eCOPR.

I'd say at least a couple of months to more. But you can be lucky and get things faster, it's really not a consistent formula.

You cannot check the status of your QSW PR application through https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?app=ecas&lang=en.

It may take some time to link your application to the IRCC portal. In my case, I was able to link the application within a few minutes; however, it took some time for all the application details to appear.

Hello everyone! I have a question I posted in Quebec immigration forum, but I thought it might also be appropriate to post it here as well..!

My friend applied for the PR in October 2024 using the CSQ that she obtained when her mother applied for her CSQ (she was a dependent during that time and now is in an adult age). The CSQ was delivered on June 2023 and will expire on June 2025. The CSQ has my friend's name, and the expiration date as well.
Today, she got an email from CIO Sydney saying that the application does not meet the requirement of R 10 of IRPA (i.e. "You must provide the Certificat(s) de Selection du Quebec (CSQ) issued to you by the Province of Quebec"), and that since it is considered incomplete it is returned to her with the processing fee.. However, in her application, she included CSQ..! I helped her filling out the forms together, and we are now very confused what is going on.. Does anyone know possible reason this could happen? Please help us..! Thanks!

Maybe this is an obvious question, but what does the AOR look like?

I have received an email (including my UCI and application No) from the IRCC saying in the email text

"This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 2024/12/30."

Is this the AOR? no official PDF document and nothing saying "Acknowledgment of receipt"?

I also got the Biometric Letter request on the same day.
