@Miss bee, I had applied under non express entry in July,2024 and got AOR & Biometrics in Dec,2024. Now in Jan,2024 Ircc requested new pcc for my home country, as there was name spelling mistake in old pcc.
Now I have another pcc which I got in OCT,2024 with correct information.
Should I submit this PCC or get a new one and submit. As, they requested for updated pcc, so I am confused, please guide me in this regard. Thanks
If there is no expiry date on PCC and you haven't went back home after PCC was issued, you can use it however if it doesn't take too long to get new PCC, you can get new one too .

@Miss bee Hey, I really need your help. I am in panic mode here.

So I applied for Non Express PNP - Inland on 12th December and included my spouse as Non-accompanying member. I did not know that I have to upload her photo, PCC and medicals even if she is not accompanying me at the moment (She is in India and I am in Canada). It is been 1.5 months of my application is in que and I did not receive an AOR yet. How would I fix my mistake here? I want to upload the docs to correct my mistakes. Can I submit it through webworm all together with combining all the docs in 1 pdf? How long will they take to attach it to my application? I am worried if they return my application without even giving me AOR.
AOR is taking around 5 months. I guess IRCC is processing application submitted in the beginning of Aug 2024 as of now.

Hi Miss Bee-Any idea how much time it takes to get a decision on T13 bridging work permit application? Which one is better to apply: a closed work permit or a bridging work permit and if one is refused can the other be applied for?

Processing time is same for work permit however depends on officer . For BOWP , you need AOR and no employer restriction on your nomination certificate.

Thank you for the quick reply.
I don't have AOR, my application was returned once, and then I reapplied. Did you mean in this case I can't apply for BOWP? What's the latest time frame for work permit application?

Hey @Miss bee,
I applied for Non EE PNP last November after getting my OINP International student form. ( still waiting for AOR)

I just realized that when I went for vacation last month back home I renewed my passport since it'll expire end of 2025 and I wont be there so I was like might as well do it while I'm there.
Do I need to update anything or raise a webform or something, knowing that my passport document number is different now.

I found an option called "Update or ask about your application: Add a document to your application".

Should I add my new passport page and explain what happened?

Thanks

Yes, it is essential to update your application with your new passport details, as the passport is a key document in immigration applications. Here iswhat you should do:

1. Update Your Application Using the Webform
Go to the IRCC webform: Update or ask about your application

Select the appropriate option, such as Add a document to your application.
Explain the situation in the provided text box. Mention that you renewed your passport during your recent trip, the reason for doing so, and provide the details of both the old and new passports (e.g., passport number, issue date, expiry date, country of issue).
Attach a scanned copy of the biographical page of your new passport (in PDF or JPEG format) and any other relevant documents, if required.

2. Include the Following in Your Explanation
Your full name and date of birth.
Unique Client Identifier (UCI) and application number (if available).
Mention that your old passport is no longer valid and has been replaced by a new one.

3. Double-check Before Submitting
Ensure the uploaded documents are clear and legible.
Confirm you're re submitting the update to the correct processing office or department.

4. Follow Up
After submitting the webform, you should receive a confirmation email.
Keep an eye on your email for any further instructions from IRCC.

This step ensures your application reflects accurate and up-to-date information, preventing potential delays or complications in processing.

Unfortunately if your application has been refused, you can't work anymore until your restoration application has been approved. If you keep working now , you will be working illegally which can cause serious offence. You should let your employer know about your work permit .
