September 2024 Citizenship Applications

Generally I'd agree with this statement but CSC was quite helpful with the citizenship application, might I add with minimal amount of attempts and wait time to speak with someone. Early November, I got a ghost update that was for security clearance and the following day the test schedule. After test, my application was sitting stale with no updates waiting for criminality clearance to happen so my background check can be completed. Towards the end of November, a CSC agent sent a correspondence to the processing office to see if they needed my fingerprints. Sure enough in a couple of weeks, got a fingerprint request and after that the application was wrapped up pretty quickly. I suggest talking with them again and perhaps send a webform too? Good luck!!
Of course, what I mentioned was my experience. In my case it wasn't helpful at all, just stating the obvious what I already knew. But it's great that it helped you and I'm sure it's different with each agent. I'll give it another go.

Test Completed: November 22nd
Fingerprint Request: Dec 23rd
Fingerprints Submitted: Dec 27th.

I did my fingerprints on 23rd Dec and they updated as received on the tracker on 19th Jan. Call RCMP and check they posted them. If they did and you're approaching your 30/60 day submit deadline, send a webform with the print out receipt you did your prints.

First call and ask IRCC if they have received the FP. It's too early to get GCMS notes.

Only 6 weeks after test complete for an update and 3.5 months from AOR? Yea, completely normal. Start worrying past 7 months :)

Yeah Scarborough is really lagging behind. My AOR is October 10th. Test was updated on December 16th. No update since then. My husband had applied end of May last year, same office and he had his oath in mid September. Same timeline for another friend of ours (he had applied a week later). Sucks that there is no consistency. I guess the holidays in between increased processing times.
