Hi, My situation is My WP-Ext Got refused and I have applied my PR through Non-Express PNP On Aug 22, 2024. Didn’t get AOR yet
Now since I got refused I lost the job right away and now how should I move forward financially.
Since I have a dependent with me.
Please someone guide me here

1. Were you eligible for extension or applying for a fake one? You are out of status and cannot work until either a) approved for another work permit through job support letter with PNP or b) get PR. Do you have an approved LMIA? What PNP and stream.
2. If your PNP is based on a job offer then you (and employer) must notify PNP that you are no longer working. PR non EE processing is about 20 months.
3. Dependant can continue to work if on a valid WP.

Please restore your status within 90 days and what type of Work permit did you apply, was it open work permit or closed work permit with the provincial Work support letter? (When did you apply)
U need to notify ONIP and they will give you some months to find the job in the same NOC.

Where did OP say OINP? Refusal letter will say whether it is possible to restore given type of work permit. Even if not OINP, OP must notify PNP program or that is misrepresentation.

OP didn't say he/she apply for Ontario PNP (OINP)
PNP can be of any province

Sorry, I assumed It's Ontario nomination, whatever it is, he /she should inform the province and they would give some months to find the job in the same noc code.

I was eligible to apply for a work permit extension and as manitoba announced through provincial support letter thats what I did and still got rejected
Now My situation is very bad because I’m living in a apartment with my Dependent and we both not having job and having only little savings that We cant survive more than 2 months

Did you apply for and specifically received a work permit support letter from Manitoba? If so, then I would try submitting a recommendation request.

What was the exact refusal reason you received?

So did you get a provincial support letter or not? You are now out of status and cannot work until permit is approved, and it will take months.

I hope that OP did. She needs the WPSL to be issued by MPNP before she can apply for WP. And WPSL isn't guarantee.

Right. OP may have it.
It could be a processing error for the WP on the IRCC side as well.
