You can apply multiple PR application under different categories and whichever gets approved first, they will automatically cancel your other applications. If processing has been on other applications, they won’t refund processing fees but they will refund Right to Permanent residence Fees . I would suggest you to apply for EE Pr application as well as there is no harm . You have to submit up to date documents including medical and PCC .
Thank you so much!

Nomination is valid for 6 Months. If you don’t apply PR application before it , you have to apply PNP application application again.
I'm asking because for provincial programs through Express Entry, when an applicant receives the nomination, they only have 60 days to submit their application (I was said). I’m concerned that this rule might also apply to non-Express Entry streams, like mine.

If you got invitation for EE- PNP PR application category, you have 60 days to submit documents online in your GCKEY . If you didn’t submit documents, you will go back into pool and you have to create new profile and transfer 600 points into new account which is a bug hassle.

Hi @Miss bee,
I have applied under OINP Non Express Entry PR on July 7, 2024 and received AOR on Nov 27 2024. As I did not pay upfront for by biometrics, IRCC asked me to pay biometrics fees and requested additional information on my application on the same date. I received Acknowledgement of the submitted documents on Dec 8 2024. I havent heard anything from IRCC since that date. When can I expect to get letter to submit the biometrics and medical. My work permit expires in Sep 2025 and the current updated processing time of 20 months worries me.

@Miss bee I want to link my application to the IRCC account but the account I have contains my previous visit visa and study permits and not the immigration application. Am I supposed to create a new IRCC account or add a new (immigration) application to my existing IRCC account?

Also, with my AOR I also received the BIL but not medical request. Is this common? Will I be requested for medical later or am I exempt? I paid BIL and medical for the whole family when I submitted my application.

Thank you!

Hello, can I ask for some advice about my situation?

I finished a 3-year degree at university and then applied for a PGWP. My PGWP was issued on December 29, 2023 and it expires on October 21, 2025. It’s for just 1 year, 9 months, and 22 days - I think it’s shorter because my biometrics will expire on October 22, 2025.

I also applied for the MPNP and got nominated under the Non-Express Entry stream. I submitted my application for PR on November 5, 2024 but my status is still just "Submitted."

I’m worried my Work Permit will run out before I get my PR. If I want to stay and work in Canada longer, I have to extend my Work Permit. Should I wait until I receive AOR and apply for a BOWP or should I extend my PGWP now?

I’ve started drafting my Work Permit extension on the IRCC site, but I saw that I need a document saying “Proof that you Meet the Requirements of the Job Being Offered”. How can I get that if I extend my PGWP now?
