Recent trend was … P1 on the same day….for some it was after day or two and rest depends on IRCC …full of surprises. Can’t predict anything.
My FD was on October 16 and I got P1 on October 17. P2 was on October 30 and eCoPR on January 06. Seems like IRCC is focusing on closing the applications that are pending from last year, hence, the delay in P1 and P2. It keeps on changing every alternate month.

I'm in a weird situation and need some advice.
My employer applied for a Work Permit (WP) based on an LMIA, and after that, I received my PR invite, which is now stuck after P2 since December 16th. So, both my WP and PR applications are under process. I raised a web form request for a WP extension on the 13th, but I haven't received a reply yet.
My current WP expires on January 25th. Should I go ahead and apply for a Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP), or should I wait until next week?

Didn't you receive the WP-Ext letter after applying for WP with positive LMIA?

I did, but it says "
you are authorized to continue working under the same conditions as your original work permit
until Jan 6th or until a decision is made on your application, whichever is first.
"
