Unfortunately, exceptions cannot be examples as every case varies from one VO to another! Hopefully, you get some update soon!It does sound standard, but I have friends who applied for Non-Express PNP to PR 6-12 months after my application date and they have received their eCoPR's
Thank you so much! You are staying for about 14 days. Two weeks is a lot but considering that not so much is happening with issuance of eCOPR (as in the process is not moving fast), you may want to risk it. But call IRCC and inform them that your are traveling and won't be back until Feb 3 so that they will delay sending your eCOPR. The reason is once your eCOPR is issued, you visa will be cancelled. So you may need to let IRCC know.
This captures exactly why I choose to worry less. The system is pretty slow but it's what it is. Worrying changes nothing. When I saw the expiration date on my eCOPR document update, I told myself that the worst that can happen is to get eCOPR around that period so why worry? We wait.To me - none of that should matter to us.
If we got P1 P2 then we're over the line - just need clerical work to actually get the ecopr uploaded / PR card sent.
Who cares if bunch of politicians work or not - people in government offices still have to do their job.
Government and IRCC still has to function normally.
And we're seeing many eCOPR since January started - its just that WE aren't lucky yet.
I want to be pissed off with IRCC and the whole world - but realistically, I guess its just a bunch of applications and they're working through them.
Is it slow ? yes - but I guess we just gotta wait.
The more tickets, emails, calls we send in that black hole - the more we're clogging it up.
Anyway - EE PNP 1 dependent.
P2 Oct 29th - still here, still waiting.
Since both of you are on the same application, I am thinking that a BOWP for both of you will be ideal.Hello everyone, Need help please.
I am waiting for ecopr P2 was on Oct 31, Work permit expires on Jan 25th, I am inland CEC applicant. I know if I didn't receive ecopr until 22nd Jan I have apply BOWP for myself. But the question is for my spouse.I non accompany him, so I was going to apply spousal sponsorship for him once I received my ecopr but can someone please let me know, what should I apply for him, as his work permit is also going to expire with me on Jan 25th, I mean do we need to apply his BOWP, SOWP or Visitor record. which one would be the best option? I am so worried.
Also, If I apply his Spousal Sponsorship before 25 Jan (WP expiry), should I still need to apply his bowp. sowp. visitor record?
Thank you so much in advance.
Since both of you are on the same application, I am thinking that a BOWP for both of you will be ideal.
However, I pray that you get your eCOPR before then so you don't have to go through the hassles and the wait. Rooting for you.
I also doesnt apply my wife, but she is US citizen,so my plan is when I get my PR,i apply BOWP for her, before that she can stay here as a visitor couple monthsThank you Alizique, but he is not on my applictaion. I non accompany him.
Not sure, if I should apply his visitor record. feeling bad, waiting from 2.5 months and still struggling to maintain the status.I also doesnt apply my wife, but she is US citizen,so my plan is when I get my PR,i apply BOWP for her, before that she can stay here as a visitor couple months
