You are staying for about 14 days. Two weeks is a lot but considering that not so much is happening with issuance of eCOPR (as in the process is not moving fast), you may want to risk it. But call IRCC and inform them that your are traveling and won't be back until Feb 3 so that they will delay sending your eCOPR. The reason is once your eCOPR is issued, you visa will be cancelled. So you may need to let IRCC know.
Thank you so much!

Is there any precedent to assume these COPR delays are related to the upcoming election and prorogued parliament? (I suppose there isn't, immigration wasn't a concern when Trudeau came to power a decade ago). I kept hearing talks about a "flood" of COPRs coming in January most of December, based on which I would say this processing of applications is barely even a trickle.

To me - none of that should matter to us.
If we got P1 P2 then we're over the line - just need clerical work to actually get the ecopr uploaded / PR card sent.
Who cares if bunch of politicians work or not - people in government offices still have to do their job.
Government and IRCC still has to function normally.

And we're seeing many eCOPR since January started - its just that WE aren't lucky yet.
I want to be pissed off with IRCC and the whole world - but realistically, I guess its just a bunch of applications and they're working through them.
Is it slow ? yes - but I guess we just gotta wait.
The more tickets, emails, calls we send in that black hole - the more we're clogging it up.

Anyway - EE PNP 1 dependent.
P2 Oct 29th - still here, still waiting.
