Hi All ,

I am planning to apply my citizenship . As a cross border worker I have more than 1000 entries for physical presence. I am planning to use CIT 0407 form to calculate physical presence as I can attach pages instead of manually entering in calculator. I have below two questions.

1) It says in instructions not to sign CIT 0407 e form but the form has a space for signature and date . Do we need to sign or not?
2)Form says to enter date you will sign application form in Box A - I am assuming this has to match the date ill sign the actual citizenship application ?.
However , in notes section of form it says your eligibility date =date in Box B to date in Box A .

Eligibility date cannot be till BOX A if its the date to sign application . What am i missing ?. Please advice.

Is there a reason why you cannot use the online physical presence tool?
1) Yes, there is a space for your signature and date of signature and you must sign the form
2) Yes, you must indicate the date that you will effective sign the actual citizenship application. The Note box under section A says the following: Do not count the actual date you will sign your application in your calculation; the physical presence requirement must be met before the date you sign your application. - that means that you are not including in your counting the date you will sign your application form
3) What do you mean by your question: Eligibility date cannot be till Box A...?

This is what is there in instructions -
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-0002-application-canadian-citizenship-under-subsection-5-1-adults-18-years-older.html

- You don’t have to sign or date your physical presence calculation (your printout of the Online Physical Presence Calculator or form CIT 0407).

I dont want to make 1000 entries manually on physical presence tool , hence the CIT0407

3) In notes section of form it says your eligibility date =date in Box B to date in Box A - Now if box A is application sign date ,it cannot be in eligibility (statement is contradictory)
