How much time does it take to get the BIL once you have made the payment and shared the receipt for Biometrics. I have submitted on 27th Dec 2024 but have not received any BIL letter till now.

BIL comes along with AOR, so far I've seen 4-5 months to receive this letter.

If you submitted your application on 27th Dec, expect to receive it in late April or early May.

I got my AOR on 23rd Dec and another email stating to pay the fees for Biometrics. I did not receive any BIL letter. I paid the fee on 27th Dec, but have not received BIL letter yet. Am i missing anything. Does one usually get BIL letter with AOR?

Ah I see, I'd assume when an officer looks into your application again - that's when you'll receive your BIL.

In my case, I paid for biometrics in the initial stage (when submitting the application) so received BIL along with AOR.

Even I had paid the biometric fee at the time of application, but somehow did not get the letter so paid the fee again on 27th Dec. So yes, waiting for the officer to have a look at it.

Hello Everyone. I wanted to share the timeline for my mom’s immigration application, which is currently in process, and see if anyone here has a similar experience or timeline.

Here are the details:

Application Type: MPNP-Economic Immigration
PR Application Submitted: October 12, 2024
AOR: waiting

If anyone has a similar timeline, I would love to hear about your experience and any updates you may have received. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

NON-EE PR application Spouse Outside Canada

I am submitting my PNP non-ee PR application (OINP Nominee).
My spouse is outside Canada. (Visa and SOWP approved). I am in Canada PGWP.
  1. I am wondering if I have to include any additional form?
I googled it and it showed me outland PR sponsorship, which I think is not related to my scenario.
We are planning to apply NOW (she is outside Canada)
  2. I was wondering if she can move to Canada before the PR is approved (maybe in 4 months from now). Or she has to wait until PR is approved?
Since she has visa and SOWP approved, can she move here and update IRCC about it? and wait together in Canada?
Thanks :)

You are not expected nor supposed to pay for biometric twice. The first already suffice. You should call IRCC and send a webform in parallel to request for the BIL.

Hello @Miss bee, please i need ur help. I just got refused work permit after the completion of my studies and I am really devastated by this. Please can you tell me any step I could take to go about it? Anything I can apply for?

We are sorry to hear that but I think in order to help you we need as many details as possible including the reason for the rejection (no need to share personal details).
