To answer whether its lost or expired, I cant say as I dont have a physical or any copy, so I am assuming based on what I last remember it as, to be honest, I think its expired.

A lost PR card can be issues with same expiry date as the previous one and you’d need to be in Canada to pick it up or receive it by mail.

Feel like there is more to this story that may have been posted to another name. Did you apply for PRTD already to study at McMaster yet left during the first semester?

No not yet, as I dont know how to go about, since I dont have any PR to claim.
I do have COPR but I dont if it would be enough to claim that I have landed in Canada

Ok, but the GC key login portal through which I got my PR, my exhusbabd has changed the password and I am doubtful, if creating another profile would cause me more problem.

COPR is just a record that you have landed at a certain point. And after the COPR expiry date does not prove that you are a current PR or used as a replacement of a PR card. Did you not return to Canada very briefly to start your studies at McMaster but left a few months later? Did you have a valid PR card at the time? Did you meet your RO at that point? If not compliant was anything said when you arrived in Canada about not meeting RO or spending too much time abroad?

No, all process is online, did not require for me to visit Canada

You must have had your PR card when you applied for MacMaster. Were you still in Canada at that point? Are you receiving OSAP? If you renounce your Canadian degree will not count as a Canadian education since it was done online.

Renounce a Canadian degree? Won't be counted as a Canadian education since it was done online? I know one university in Ontario offers two undergraduate degree programs that can be completed solely online: BA (General) and BA (History).

So the education that is offered from a country wouldnt be counted by the country itself for offering in a certain way?

How about you raise the awarness through the education system in the country!!!

Clearly missed some punctuation but if they reapplied for PR their McMaster degree would not get points for Canadian education.

IRCC is very clear about what qualifies as a Canadian education. Online studies do not count for immigration purposes. During height of Covid they did allow for up to 50% of studies to be done online and still be considered Canadian education.

Its very weird that an education program run in a country, taught by leading universities and yet not getting accreditation around the world.
